Ok, this is a must do.
Milk and Honey does the most amazing wood-fired pizzas.
The style is classic, with handmade thin crust that goes beautifully crunchy, and a thin layer of ingredients. There is no smothering of cheap and nasty cheese here.
Milk and Honey was packed out, which surprised us somewhat, being in the quiet town of Mullumbimby. Clearly the locals know this place is amazing.
There are no names to the pizzas, just a list of ingredients on a printed out piece of paper – great idea too – let them do what they do best. Classic Italian pizzas.
Prosciutto, ham and spicy salami make up the meatier dishes, and there is a great selection of vegetables such as pumpkin, eggplant and more. We also tried the apple and walnut salad – subtle and a fantastic compliment to a fiery pizza.
The ingredients are local and fresh (the basil was pungent), and the taste is amazing.
Mullumbimby is just a 5 min drive off the Pacific highway – take the time to drop in to Milk and Honey.

Milk and Honey ROCKS! We had pear and walnut salad – near perfection!! 5 star food for a little place.
Love Milk and Honey.
My absolute fave is the mushroom pizza. The base is thin, crisp with just enough topping to give a balanced flavour.
That being said it’s a fight to the line between it and the pumpkin topping.
Hmmm I need pizza again

Hi, We are a family that is coming up to stay at Byron Bay from the 20-27th December. I am interested to know your opening ours at that time, Valli Little has recommended you as the best pizza’s in the world so it a must try. Also how far are you from Byron?
Thank you Conny
Hi, as a local this place has been sometimes fantastic and then, recently, completely dissappointing. The only thing that has kept us going back in the past is the taste of the pizza. Tonight the service was great from the waitress, however the time to wait for a pizza was excessively long and the taste was way too poor. Generally they try to rush you through without delivering the goods, or make you wait longer than is neccessary. My last time there we were given the bill without even being offered desert or coffee! Tonight enough is enough! Milk and honey management need to improve a lot more on their service and dedication to their customer rather then being up themselves and treating the customer like a hindrance to their business.
