<description>We have had a few wonderful meals when passing through Tambourine Mountain. Our last meal was for my birthday and the Polish Place was the place where I wanted to celebrate it - in fact we went twice. The first time we had a whole duck which we shared. This came with kopitka, cabbage, cherries and apple. Just delicious and we devoured the lot. Two days later we went for the golonka - pork hock. A large delicious meal, again thoroughly enjoyed. On our return south we again stopped at the Polish place so that we could again have the duck. I pre-ordered this with Phil. Yes, it is not cheap but the meal is delicious and the portions are large. We have been there about five times (with Polish visitors) and this restaurant continues to be one of our favourites. Unfortunately we live on the south coast of NSW, so cannot partake as often as we would like. The service can be a little slow but hey, why not sit back, enjoy the wine, the views and the beautiful birds. We will be returning again, hopefully soon.
