A perfect review if written by a dickhead., who drinks piña coladas with Mexican food anyway? If you want perfect COCKtails and spicy food then best head down to Oxford St.

I am glad its your opinion, as I have been going to Pancho Villa for 8 years with my family love the fact the owner is involved with his business and customers and staff.

I recommend this place and have done so over the years. I have never had greasy and bland. its really hard to reheat cornchips.

I have eaten at Pancho Villa twice, the portions are huge. I found the food to be stodgy, greasy and bland. A Local told me all food is cooked or reheated in t he microwave, so I would definately not recommend. In saying t hat, it is usually very busy..so no accounting for taste.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion – here’s ours. We’ve been going to Lennox Head for holidays for about as long as Pancho Villa has been going – we eat there at least once every time we go – and we’ve NEVER been disappointed with either the food or the service. The food is always fresh and full of flavour, and we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. I keep a menu in my purse all the time, and it makes me smile when I’m on the Sunshine Coast of QLD and have to eat really ordinary mexican from somewhere like Montezuma’s. I would never describe Pancho Villa as generic.

I live at Lennox Head, and Pancho Villa is one of our favourite restaurants in the area. Whenever we have taken visiting friends there they have not been disappointed.

I can’t comment on the cocktail quality since neither my wife nor I drink, or whether the flavours are ‘authentic’ (I have no idea), but the food tastes great, and the service is friendly. I’ve definitely noticed that some days the food tastes better than others, but I’ve never been disappointed.

As a side note, their takeaway portions are generous and well priced, and if you’re a visitor to Lennox, I can highly recommend sitting on the beach in the evening with some chicken nachos with guacamole!

The food is bland.Really bland , I think this place has been there too long and is running on auto pilot.The size of the meals are OK.
However if you like Mexican food there is no where this side of the Queensland border that serve sdecent Mexican.
Most of the cafes and restaurants in Lennox Head are quite expensive for what they are and in general the food is unimaginative.
Ballina is a better bet if dinoing out.

After reading the above we decided to take the risk………the whole experience was FANTASTIC!!! The food was great, the staff were, polite, prompt, able to build rapport with ease and all in all did an awesome job……..we had a great night and will definately be going back again. Thanx Lennox Head and cheers for the ‘interesting” reviews, we went and we LOVED it.

i work at pancho willa and have been there for two years, and you may say that my review will be a little bias.

pancho villa has been in buissness for twenty years and is a has many regular customers. the locals love this place for the friendly service (humour and all) and good atmoshere.

as for the food, i love it, and trust me, many many people do aswell. the meals are enormous, and i am sorry about your chimichanger, but when someone orders this meal for the first time, they always go back, and i have trouble conviuncing them to try something else. the food is not full of preservatives, all fresh ingrediants is used. maybey your head aches were form the margeratas and pina coladas and you should try limiting your alchole intake.the cocktails are very cheap, all under 10 dollars and we rarely complaints.

i reccomend you come to the lennox head mexican and see for your self.
