As I mentioned on the night, I"m yet to have a bad dining experience at this cosy, friendly Asian-Australian restaurant.
After head chef and owner, Terry chastised me for "sneaking" in without saying Hello, Nick and I perused the menu. As always, too many delicious sounding choices.
But I decided I must try something I haven’t yet sampled.
Terry offers a great-value deal of $50 for entree, main and dessert (selected items from the a la carte menu). It’s hard to go past let me assure you.
I settled on a tomato chowder with crabmeat, while Nick chose the ever-reliable grilled haloumi.
This was then followed by pork belly and steamed scallops for me and the seafood risotto for my dinner companion. Of course neither of us then had room for dessert but soldiered on nonetheless!!
Ice-cream crepe with hot chocolate fudge sauce was my poison, while Nick chose the very civilised Camembert & Brie with accompaniments.
This family run Asian-Australian restaurant is a gem of a find, tucked away in an Auchenflower side-street. A must for those after great food with a casual atmosphere, without an exhorbitant price tag. Bon apetit!!
