Stephen Carlton, author of The Narcissist, has written one of the funniest local plays in years. Set in New Farm, Brisbane, the story revolves around Xavier, a late 30-something gay man who has only time for his career, and all denial of a relationship.
Enter his good friend Bronwyn, who realises she is in the same predicament, and that it is time to do something before they get too old.
So the stage is set to "bag a man" before the New Year, and the race is on for the attention of a past flame and a current flatmate.
There are plenty of witty pop culture references, and is enjoyable for people of all ages.
Fabulosity Factor 5 out 5.
