Tucked down the Feros Arcade, off Jonson St in Byron Bay, is this fantastic Thai restaurant called Thai at Byron.
The menu is typical of a Thai restaurant, but the quality is excellent and the price very reasonable.
I tried the Pork Pad Thai – the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the noodles separated nicely, instead of being congealed into one great lump.
My dining partner tried the Chicken Red Curry, and described it as very tasty with a delicate yet balanced mix of flavours.
Thai at Byron is open for lunch Monday to Friday, and has a very reasonably priced daytime menu.
Dinner is 7 nights a week. I strongly suggest that you book – on previous visits this restaurant has always been packed, with a queue of people waiting.
That is testament alone.
