Review of Cou Cou Lounge. Turkish Restaurant, Brisbane.

Review of:
Cou Cou Lounge (proun koo koo)
Lyyton Road
East Brisbane

Brad and I attended a birthday party at this new Cafe/Bar/Lounge on Saturday night and was great!

The venue and service was great.  Its has a turkish based menu with kebabs, turkish pizza’s and fried ball thingys, for lovers of lamb it has an excellent selection and it’s pricing is very good with mains costing no more than $12.50, but the eating menu is limited.

In saying that, the cocktail menu is huge!  and my stomach muscles will vouch for that

Sounds great – we must arrange a night there. Gotta try that cocktail menu. We are really getting into this Turkish theme!

Hi, just read your review of Cou Cou and I agree with you, it is a really awesome place, especially for cocktails!! But while it does have some meditterranean style food its not a turkish restaurant, its menu is tapas (euro) based and extended with more traditional “mains”- steak, chicken, fish, pasta etc! You should try Friday nights, they do a Bond theme eith 2 martinis for the price of 1!
