I myself moved here from Sydney around five years ago, and can quite confidently state that Bangalow is a classy, cute, and somewhat laid-back little town, perfect for those desperate to escape the brick and steel hell that is Sydney, and any city for that matter. If you can put that aside, it still is a beautiful town, and well worth the visit! I have lived in sydney.melbourne and los angeles and bangalow pub on a weekend is simply full of arrogent sydney-like neopyhtes who have happened to breed...thus little unsuffererable neophytes... avoid bangalow at all costs....what ever you do so NOT move there from sydney unless you have 2.5 children and have a beard and a harley and a girl locked up in the cellar bangalow pub is the most pretentious pub i have ever been too.
