Bang Thai in Bangalow is worth taking the trip from Byron Bay (15 min drive). The food is fresh and prepared with care, and not always your typical Thai cuisine. Prices are on the expensive side, but worth it for the flavour. What IS Sweet Bangalow pork? It’s still a pig, isn’t it?
The venue is cosy, and suits and cool winter evening all rugged up with a bottle of your favourite red. Alternatively, try a balmy summer evening at dusk on the footpath. Either way, the food is great.
